You’re mad. Bonkers. Off your head. But I’ll tell you a secret; all the best people are.

Beginning of the END!

I am starting my last semester of my Graduate program. I can't believe how fast it has come and gone. It's a bitter sweet feeling. I enjoy the college atmosphere and comfort of knowing that my life revolves around school. I don't have to worry about too much else. HOWEVER, it will also be so GREAT to not have to worry about writing a 40 page paper OR cramming for a test OR preparing for a presentation OR dealing with people for group projects. I recall when I was just working how fantastic it felt to go to work and then come home without having to worry about what I need to do for school. It was such a relief. While I know I am a great student, I know I have to buckle up and venture out into the REAL world... Ready or not, Here I COME!

My New Scarf...

Here's a new Scarf that I made. It's not the normal block/square stuff (that's usually all I can make). I learned how to create ruffles and it's so much fun! I am still perfecting it, but so far so good!

I'm not as good as I once was..But I was good once as I ever was!

I played in an Alumni game for Porterville High School on Saturday. Technically, I did not graduate from PHS, but I did give them 2 dang good years of basketball. The game was fun, we lost to our our crosstown rival (Monache High School) by about ten points. The teams weren't fairly matched, but I have to say that PHS hung in there. I was proud of my team. MHS, on the other hand, was MEAN! They were vicious; out for revenge! They came out with some gusto...It was hard to keep up. Overall, it wasn't too terrible bad, and it actually felt great to run up and down the court dribbling a basketball.

I miss playing...I miss the the rush you get when you score a basket, thinking you're all that! I do have to admit I did air a three. I just didn't have the legs to shoot. They were super tired from all the running. I wish I could play more, but that's life. Growing up sometimes means not being able to do everything you want to. All I can say is that the basketball court felt like home

NEW PHONE!

This new phone is similar to the iPhone, but without all the hype! It does everything pretty much the same as the iPhone, and (Unfortunately) costs just as much. I needed a new phone, and thought it would be fun to try this one. I am still getting used to it and trying to figure out all the cool gadgets and apps... I have heard great things about it, and I am enjoying my new gift to myself (late Christmas or early Birthday).
