You’re mad. Bonkers. Off your head. But I’ll tell you a secret; all the best people are.

YOU LOOK LIKE....

Again, it never fails to have people say, "You look like..." Here are my recent look-a-likes:

  • Middle of December I was subbing at a Junior High in San Jose. The was a cluster of kids doing their work, but also staring at me! I knew what was next. "You look like..." This time I looked like a 7th grade boy they knew. Apparently one of the girls was crushing on him. Of course they tried not to totally insult me and say the boy had a girlish look about him. Seriously, I look like a 7th grade boy??? I thought that topped it! Nope

  • Next, about a week ago, I was subbing for my dad's class and a student said that oh so familiar phrase, "You look like... The captain from Treasure Planet." Treasure what? I have looked it up, and the only Treasure Planet I find is a CARTOON movie... I went from being a 7th grade boy to a cartoon character. I guess it isn't too bad. I remember a boy in one of my BYU wards that looked like Ralph from The Simpsons. So I guess it's possible. However, the cartoon character looks kinda crazy... All I can say is I hope I don't really look like that!

  • The most recent one was yesterday. I went back to the same Junior High school as the 7th grade boy look-a-like and another kid that remembered me was like, "You look like... Nina from Tekkin." Don't worry, I didn't know who she was either. Turns out she is a video game character. Yes, I repeat, a video game character. I am pretty sure there's no toppin' that! I looked her up, and I don't think I look like her. For one thing, she has blond hair, and well, she's a video game character.

Well Hello!

I feel it's been awhile since I last wrote on my blog! Let's get some updates:

  • I have had about 6 weeks off from school! Can't say I hate the long break, but I fear it got me out of a great routine... I hope I can easily get back on track this upcoming week. School starts next Tuesday, and I have to admit I am a little nervous. I ROCKED last semester. I got a 4.0! Woot Woot!!!! However, I do feel it was an easy course load. This semester is gonna be a lot tougher. I have another round of BioStats, I have to write a 60 page grant, and apply for an internship. It could be a little stressful. Wish me luck!

  • Stoddard Christmas was eventful as always... I am gonna leave the drama up to your imagination. Besides the drama, it was still a mighty fine Christmas. Kjell, Jonathan, and Kasia came and brightened the mood. All I can say is I love that little girl. She is so much fun. I wish they lived closer, but such is life. I am just glad I got to spend some quality time with them=) Got some great presents as well (new camera, swimming suit, waffle maker, perfume, clothes).

  • I am excited to start going to a new ward. Before I left San Jose for Christmas, I checked out an older singles ward in the Stanford area... All I can say is I was sold! I think the SJ branch was nice, but I just need something more. There are a lot more people who go to this ward (well, the fact that it's a ward should give it away) and I just feel it will be a better place for me!

  • I'm loving crocheting. Just made a cute bag this week.

  • Am I really gonna be 26 in less than a month.... Good Gracious! Time sure does fly!!
