Stayed in Jamaica (Queens Area). Kind of a scary place. On the first day, some guy totally checked me out and whistled at me. My dad and I had a good laugh about that.
We had to master the subway station. Again, a scary situation. One time trying to find the temple, we headed up to Harlem... Ya, we didn't quite have it mastered yet! But, I have decided that subway was a great way to get around the city.
Some sights we checked out included: Central Park, Empire State Building, Time Square, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, & Coney Island. We also saw a Broadway Play: The Little Mermaid
Mass/Boston:
We ventured around Massachusetts checkin out the little towns. Plymouth, Fair haven, Rehoboth, Salem!!
We got to see a Boston Red Sox game. Dad was probably the most excited to see this, but then he got all SICK! Poor guy, I still think he enjoyed it. Boston won, and we got to see Jason Bay's first game.
We went into the city and did the Freedom Trail and got to check out what makes Boston such a nice city =)
Northern New York:
We decided we needed to see Palmyra, so we jumped in the car and headed to see where our beloved prophet grew up. Such a neat experience. Beautiful place.
We also got to see my cousin Chad and his family that I haven't seen in many of years. His family is super cute!
The end of our New York trip, we decided to get a little wet at Niagara Falls. We went on the Maid of the Mist boat ride, which was amazing. Such a neat place as well!
All in all, our trip was super fun! I am glad my parents were able to come out here with me. They definitely deserved it.
