You’re mad. Bonkers. Off your head. But I’ll tell you a secret; all the best people are.

Negative Nancys and Debby Downers
In just a few days I will be starting my new adventure called GRAD SCHOOL! This was a long and hard decision to make. I never envisioned myself going to school after my undergrad. I just figured I would find a nice job and that would be that. Nope... not a chance!!! If you want to get anywhere in this world, you need to go back to school. My first ambition was to go back to school for nursing. Let's just say that was not for me! Yes, the job market for nursing is unbelievable, but I just don't see myself doing it. The next best thing was grad school for Public Health. I don't see why not...
This is where a Negative Nancy or a Debby Downer would jump right in... "Public Health, huh? *not a very excited look on their face* There's not a lot of money in that field." or "Why would you want to go into that?" or "Health is the first area that's being cut!" Aren't there any POSITIVE PETERS or PEPPY PAMS? Can't people muster up enough excitement for me (even if you have to fake it)? Come on people... Going back to school is an amazing thing!!!!! You should be shouting words of encouragement rather than disappointment. This was already a hard enough decision, thanks! Public Health might not be every person's dream career, but you better believe I will be one highly educated individual!!

Graduation and Goodbyes....
As camp has come to an end tonight, I have to say it was one fun, interesting, sometimes stressfull, but overall pleasant summer. I am glad I came back. It was fun to be in this atmosphere once again!!! Fitness is for Life! Not only did I meet some great people, I was also able to to work out and feel better about myself. I had a blast on the field trips, had a love/hate relationship with the food, and learned that I can still enjoy working out =) Camp was a great! Summer of 2009 Rocked... Goodbye!

Disneyland!

What a joy Disneyland was! I felt like I was 8 years old again. I couldn't sleep the night before, and I was like the energized bunny running around the park trying to get on every ride =) I had loads of fun! My Mom, Dad, and sister, Starr, showed up to hang out with me. Not sure if they enjoyed it quite like I did, but I was still super glad they came. Jake and Zoey also showed up. It couldn't have gotten better... Oh wait, it did. As I was starting to get in line for Indiana Jones, someone hands me their "fast pass" for the ride, and Starr and I get to get on super fast. Then, it happened again. I went to meet up with my parent, and as we were thinking about getting into the LONG line, someone hands me the fast pass again, and so this time my dad and I got to ride quickly! What luck... all I have to say is good times at Disneyland!!!
