You’re mad. Bonkers. Off your head. But I’ll tell you a secret; all the best people are.

CLJ!

Well, I am here at Camp La Jolla! It's been a crazy, busy week with training, and campers arriving... I have not had time to even visit the beach! How sad is that??? BUT, have no fear, I will have plenty of opportunity in the days to come. I am assistant director for the Teen/PC girls camp. This means I don't have any campers, but I am incharge of the planning, organizing, and making sure things are running smoothly. I am a little sad that I don't get to be a counselor because you get to have the one on one time with the campers; however, I do feel high and mighty in my new position. The counselors come to you, which makes you feel like you know what's going on (half to time I am as lost as they are!!!).
So far things are going great. Everyone seems to be enjoying themselves and meeting knew people is always interesting. I have to admit, the last time I was at CLJ, I felt threatened by the staff. All the girls were running around in the short shorts and tank tops showing off their great bodies and tans. They new they were HOTT and flaunted it. Most of the guys did that as well. This year, however, is so DIFFERENT. Everyone seems more humble this time around. We do have a smaller staff (which makbe that's the difference?). All I know is that everyone is great and not trying to show off. We are all accepted here at CLJ.
So, that is my first update of this fun and amazing place. Wish all could be here with me to enjoy lovely San Diego!

Good-Bye, Chica! You were a good dog!

We lost our dog today =( I was there to pick her up as a puppy and I was there when she died. Today is a sad day. She was part of the family, and will be missed!

Bay to Breakers 2009

We did it again....Bay to Breakers race was a blast! We actually ran most of the race. I didn't train for it at all like I was planning on, but I made it through! We did it faster than we thought we would. We saw lots of bare butts and had a good time!

Yosemite Falls!

This was one crazy hike! Super steep and rugged. I am surprised I didn't sprain my ankle on all the rocks on the trail!!!!! Beautiful view at the top, but it was hard work getting there-- Glad I did it, and glad it's over =)

"Barocky Road."

In honor of the 44th President of the United States, Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream has introduced a new flavor: "Barocky Road."

Barocky Road is a blend of half vanilla, half chocolate, and surrounded by nuts and flakes. The vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and usually denied as an ingredient. The nuts and flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow.

The cost is $100.00 per scoop.

When purchased it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone, but then the ice cream is taken away and given to the person in line behind you.

You are left with an empty wallet and no change, holding an empty cone with no hope of getting any ice cream.

Are you stimulated?
